A ceremony making the signing of a sister school agreement between Lushun Senior School and Holland Enschede Bonhoeffer College was held in Lushunkou, Dalian, a city in Northeast China's Liaoning province, on April 23.

Zheng Xu, vice-mayor of Lushunkou, said at the ceremony that he hopes that the two cities will actively cooperate, strengthen communications in personnel training, curriculum development, education, and teaching strategies, facilitate teacher and student visits, and strive to improve the quality of their schools.

Enschede is a famous university city and an important cultural center in the Netherlands. Lushun Senior School and Bonhoeffer College have carried out numerous exchanges since Enschede and Dalian became sister cities in 2009. Becoming sister schools was of great significance to strengthening exchanges between the two schools.
