According to local media reports, 40 billion yuan ($5.93 billion) in investment intent agreements for cultural tourism projects was reached at the Lushunkou Cultural Tourism Investment Fair in Lushunkou, Dalian, a city in Northeast China's Liaoning province, on April 22.

Over 200 elites from Japan, Korea, Russia, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen gathered at the fair to discuss the development of tourism in Lushunkou.

The local government hopes to take this opportunity to gradually transform the trajectory of local tourism development while also protecting historical and cultural assets. Its goal is to enhance the region's reputation and promote the development of related industries by developing the cultural tourism industry.

A total of nine investment agreements for cultural tourism projects were signed to promote the development of the local cultural tourism industry. A total of 40 billion yuan is expected to be invested.
